Cool relaxing vibes at the open and spacious cafe. Tartine's home spun treats were simple but perfectly crafted for a delicious breakfast. we ordered the matcha latte, cappuccino, Wild Mushroom Grilled Cheese and Smoked Salmon Tartine. Service was fast and accommodating. The wild Mushroom Grilled Cheese was a wonderfully savory sandwich with a Mushroom twist and a perfect balance of melted brie and cheddar cheese on their famous homemade bread. The Smoked Salmon Tartine was was impressive. It was very generously portioned on heavenly cream cheese and homemade bread. Highly recommended.

We were able to grab an outside table despite the line to order (which went relatively fast). We had the mushroom and cheese, ham and cheese, wild mushroom soup. The sandwiches were toasted to perfection with a nice crunch when you bit into it. The only thing was that they were accompanied by cooked carrots and vegetables which were hard to bite. I could think of other things to pair with the sandwiches IMO. The real draw were the baked goods. Thought the prices were a big high for sandwiches though

Come in the morning for the freshest and better quality bakes here! I came by at 9am on a Tuesday and it was a nice and calming space to start the day with a lil sweet treat. This raspberry and pistachio danish got brought out as I was in line, so I got one of those with the masala chai. The danish was so good, it's my favorite thing I've gotten here so far. The raspberries were fresh and tart, which balanced out the sweet flaky pastry perfectly. The pistachios added nice crunch and a nutty flavor. The chai was good as ever, lightly sweet and mostly spicy. Warmed me up against the brisk SF air. I'm always happy to come by when I have the chance!

I am a long time fan of Tartine - the ambiance of this location is truly phenomenal! I love the outdoor/indoor seating and quaint vibe. The food is good (obviously...it's Tartine) but I do find the prices pretty high for the size of meals. The quality is there, don't worry, but for a $30 breakfast I would love to have some leftovers lol The omelet is SO good however. I doubt it's a popular menu item...but I HIGHLY recommend it.
